K. Digno "Ding" P. Asuncion is currently a Principal Architect of Asuncion-Berenguer Inc. Ding is experienced in a diverse range of project types in the field of Architecture and Interior Design. With an accumulated experience which includes clubs, spas, hotels, resorts, residential, institutional and commercial projects in the Philippines, South Korea, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong SAR and the United Kingdom, he holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree from the University of Santo Tomas and is a Registered Architect in the Philippines.

Prior to actively participating in Asuncion-Berenguer lnc., Ding was engaged with Belle Corporation in 1995 to 2005, the owner and developer of the Tagaytay Highlands Golf and Country Club, a luxury resort club located an hour south of Manila. He was part of the pioneering team that conceptualized architectural, interior design and the master planning of various projects including The Spa and Lodge, Belleview Condominium, Sports Center, The Woodlands, The Woodridge, Plantation Hills, The Parks at Saratoga Hills, The Verandas, among others.

In the seven years that Ding Asuncion lived in Hong Kong prior to this, he worked as Design Architect for Architects Hawaii Far East in 1987; as Senior Designer and Project Architect for S'Intemational Architects in 1989; and in 1992 he established Tectonic Designs Ltd. and served as Managing Director until he returned to Manila in November of 1994.

As Design Architect for Architects Hawaii Far East, he was involved in the design of several Condominium projects in the Philippines, the Center for American Studies in Shanghai, the Sheraton Walker Hill Resort Hotel Complex in South Korea, Tai Po Residential Development in Hong Kong, and various large scale and mix-use developments in Asia Pacific.

As Senior Designer and Project Architect for S' International Architects Ltd., he led a team of Architects in conceptualizing prominent projects such as the Anuha Island Beach Resort in Solomon Islands, St. John's Woods Condominium in London, and the extension and renovation of the Wharney Hotel in Hong Kong. He led the interior design of projects for international property developers, such as the Club Mediterranean Office and Pacific Island Club Office in Hong Kong. S' International Architects Ltd., is the core business unit within the multi-disciplinary S' lnternational Group of Companies, with offices in Hong Kong, Tokyo, Sydney, Paris and London.

As Managing Director of Tectonic Designs Ltd., he engaged the firm in turnkey interior design for several high-end residential, corporate and commercial projects. These include the Mantellassi and L' Arte Showrooms; the Winning Group Offices in Hong Kong; the Greenville Office and Exhibition Center in Guangzhou; and the Ottino and Manhattan Showrooms in Shanghai. The firm was also involved in conceptualizing architectural design projects in Guangzhou, Shanghai and Dongguan, some of which were the Golden Garden Commercial Building and the Jade Garden Commercial Center in China.

Isabel is currently a Principal Architect of Asuncion-Berenguer. Inc. Prior to forming Asuncion-Berenguer. lnc., Isabel worked in Hong Kong for five years. Isabel is experienced in a diverse range of project types in the field of Architecture and Interior Design. These include clubs, hotels, resorts, residential, institutional and commercial projects, with a variety of clients from the Philippines, Thailand, China and Hong Kong SAR. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree from the University of Santo Tomas and is a Registered Architect in the Philippines.

As Designer with Matthew Cheng Associates, her first practice in Hong Kong, Isabel did corporate planning for companies like American Express Bank and Coca Cola (HK), for both their Singapore and Hong Kong branches.

As a Designer with the then newly-formed Recio+Casas (HK), Isabel designed largely residential and corporate projects. Later as an Associate, Isabel worked on both architectural and interior design projects in Hong Kong, Manila. Macau, Bangkok, Phuket, Beijing, and Shanghai. Her responsibilities involved her in prestigious projects such as the First Pacific Bank Corporate Headquarters, the Phuket Yacht Club, the MC Caan Erickson Corporate Headquarters, the Agfa-Gaevaert Asia Pacific Offices in Shanghai and Beijing, and the Sinthorn Building (Thailand Stock Exchange).

In 1995 Isabel moved to the Manila office of Recio+Casas as a Senior Associate where, being next in position to the Principals, led a team of Associates in formulating strategies for the development of the quality of design and management systems of the company. She led Interior Designers and Architects in the conceptualization and design development of various high-end and large scale residential, commercial, corporate and hospitality, architecture and interior design that included the LKG Tower in Ayala Avenue, The Biltmore Condominium in Legaspi Village, the Citytrust Headquarters in Tektite Towers, Pasig, the refurbishment of the Mandarin Oriental, and the Security Bank Corporate Headquarters on Ayala Avenue.

Isabel formally organized Asuncion-Berenguer, Inc. in 1997, initially with several residential interior projects in the luxury Tagaytay Highlands Golf and Country Club, eventually leading to a wider clientele and evolving into a design studio with an impressive portfolio of diverse project types.

Isabel has an extensive understanding of and sensitivity to materials as manifested by designs characterized by the delicate interplay of form, light, texture, and color.
